New Scale

I think I need to buy a new scale. I have a digital scale. It will say one thing and seconds later it will jump one or two pounds. Is this normal or is there something I can do to fix it?

    Mine was doing the same but notice that it was a little wiggly it was because the floor was uneven in some places try moving it around to the point It's set still and always place it on the same spot to get better results also do not weight yourself on carpet
