Name is Vannie and ive been struggling with weight my whole life even as a kid i was over weight a period of time in my life i got into fitness and lost about 35 lbs went from 165 to a healthy 130 at a height of 5'2 medium frame this was after highschool. When i met my now husband i got pregnant with my first child and i blew up i gained over 80lbs ! Went from 145 to 215 lbs !! Ridiculous i know ! It took me 2 years after that to lose all the baby weight and get back to 140 wearing a size 7 and medium in shirts. Now after having my second child i managed to put on roughly 45 lbs then after having the baby i gained another 10 ! The stress of being a new mom again and having a 4 yr old took a toll and i lost my way. I am about 200 lbs right now and unhappy i feel like ive lost that willingness that drive i had to lose weight im so unmotivated I just want to lose the weight in half the time i did the first time but mainly i came here for support ,people that can show me how to find that drive again.

    I'm looking for friends too. I'm 46 years old and I weight 220. I'm trying to get back in shape. Need encouragement

    Welcome and good luck. You gotta want it for you, have to find that desire or reason that you need to change. I talked with my wife time-and-time-again about needing to lose weight but never found a "reason" to do it. Then I had multiple health scares in my family and friends which got me thinking and I just decided to do it one day. No New Year's Resolution, no challenge or contest, just me wanting to do it.

    Find that Reason :)
