Hi everyone--
I've been eating at a 1.5 lb/week calorie deficit, and today I am just feeling so mentally and physically drained, and hungry! I'm wondering how you all handle days like these. I'm thinking of eating my maintenance number of calories, that would put me at 1900 cals instead of 1200 cals for today.
Does anyone else do this? I feel like it might help me recharge.

When I was dieting I would see my calories as a weekly, not daily goal so it doesn't matter
Yeah keep logging but hit maintenance0 -
I would also lower your rate of loss so your base was 1450 plus exercise
There's no race and slow is good ...I lost a lot of mine at 0.5-1lbs a week0 -
From my experience in the past and from many things I've read, it is good to sometimes eat at maintenance when you are eating at a calorie deficit. Just do it, log it honestly and enjoy.0

My appetite always goes up right before my period starts and I eat normal foods at maintenance level amounts for a few days.0
