Anyone know if you can wear your fitbit through a metal detector? I have the fitbit one and wear it everyday but just got jury duty if it doesn't go through the metal detector it'll go through the x ray machine. I really wanted to wear it as I'm going to be hiking all over downtown due to the parking constraints. Thanks for the help tried fitib but they keep putting me aside.

I'm not sure I understand why its an issue for it to go through the xray machine and you putting it back on...

dont they have little bins you can put your valuables in as you go through the detector? just treat it like jewelry and stop worrying about the small things.

All bin items go through the x ray machine not my first time there just don't want to destroy my fitbit.

I wear my Fitbit Charge HR through the metal detector at work 5x a week. It never occurred to me that it might be an issue.

edited to add: My boots are steel-toed, so they always set the alarm off - I don't have a high opinion of the process. I don't know if the Fitbit would set off the metal detector, but nobody has ever asked me to remove it. The courthouse may have rules about that sort of thing. I don't think any process that is safe for laptops will cause damage to the Fitbit, so I wouldn't worry if they ask you to bin it and send it through the x-ray machine.

I go through a metal detector every day I go to work with my fitbit on. And I wear it though at the airport as long as you don't go through the body scan.
