Too little food a day?

Hey guys. So I dunno but lately I've been feeling like the calorie range I'm on is not enough food daily...I mean when you add it all up by the end of the day it's such little bit of food! Even if I try to stretch it, it goes super fast and I'm still hungry.. What to do??

What short term goal do you have? How much do you weigh? How tall are you? Age? If you exercise, what do you do? By answering these questions you may be able to enjoy more calories then you are consuming today and reach your goal. If you can't answer them then you increase your chances of being miserable with weight loss. hehehehe maybe not miserable...but mildly and constantly edgy, unhappy, frustrated. . . . . . .and on. . . . .0

It's possible your goal is too aggressive. You can always increase your goal and lose at a slightly slower rate.
Also, are you eating your exercise calories? Because you should be eating at least a portion of those back.0 -
Change your goal to one pound a week.0

I would like to lose 17 more lbs. my goal weight is 140 lbs. I'm 5'3..28 yrs old. I haven't really been exercising like I should but my calorie daily is about 1500. I always eat breakfast but by lunch I've already eaten most of my calories for the day.0

Sounds like you need to spread out your calories better. Have you tried pre-logging your day and then following it? That way you're leaving enough calories for the evening. I generally will log what I plan for Breakfast, lunch and dinner and then fill in the gaps with snacks. You might want to try dividing up your calories. For example, 300 calories for breakfast, 500 for lunch, 500 for dinner and leave 200 for snacks/dessert.0 -
You know what that's not a bad idea. I'll start doing that, thanks. Normally I'll eat around 200-300 for breakfast. Lunch is around 500-600 and dinner is less so is snacks...0

Ninkyou has a good point. You may want to look at when you are the hungriest in a day and think a little about what you need for nutrition and what you are doing.0

You may also want to look at the way your macros balance out for your calories.
I have a similar calorie goal (1400-1500 a day), and I've found some days I fall short of it and still feel full, but if I eat a lot of carbs early in the day, then I end up hitting my calorie limit too early and being hungry later.
Also, if you do a lot of exercise, you may want to add back in the calories you burned during your workout (I usually add back half of the estimate, because I've heard most machines & calculators overestimate).0
