Foodie Friends?

Hi everyone!
As much as I love seeing posts about workouts people have been doing lately on my feed, I'd also love to see people sharing what they made for breakfast that they've just got to share, or how they managed to make a delicious dinner with half the calories of it's typical counterpart.
I'm here because I love food (a little too much), and so I've needed to control it, but that doesn't mean I can't still enjoy it (now in sane quantities). I love food blogs - clean, vegetarian, baking, etc. - will spend evenings reading about the pros and cons of quinoa and the vitamin content of an edamame bean, and love flicking through cooking/food- and fitness-related magazines.
I'd love to hear from anyone who wants to share profiles and wants to talk about/make statuses on their epic lunch just as much as their epic weight session.

ps. I made this millet porridge this morning with a spoonful of locally made lemon curd and sprinkled with mixed seeds. Never would have thought of it before, and wasn't sure from the description, but it was absolutely delicious, and I've had to hide the jar of lemon curd...

Mmm, that does look good. I've never seen that site before; I've bookmarked it.
I don't write posts for my news feed, if that's what you're talking about (I'm not sure I know how to do that). I think I wrote a blog post once or twice on something I made that I thought was so tasty I had to write about it, and maybe a couple of other times I've posted about something in the food or recipe message board about something I made. Most of the time I guess I feel like even though I love it, it might not appeal to others. It's possible I might be inspired to write if I had a friend who was doing that, so if you want to add me, go ahead.0 -
Thanks, Lynn! I think that's the thing - I don't know anyone that does, so I'm not sure if I would, but if I knew I'd added people with the same interests, I'd know then that someone might be interested in my post.
To do it you just click on 'My Home', then the 'Profile' tab, and then under 'Recent Activity' on the right hand-side of your profile, you can 'Write Something...' The thing about it not appealing to others, though, is that recipes on food blogs or in a cook book might not appeal to others, but there's a chance it might inspire someone, so I'll always take that!
