    Learned to surf. Play billiards. And even shopped for liquor and all kinds of stuff every single day at the local market, just as long as I got back before 7pm.

    But yeah, 'twas more like a 5-month long resort experience rather than an actual prison. B)

    I got really bored. I got into the Fletch book series. I got depressed. I didn't walk enough and my cardio got bad. I learned to be vigilant and distrust people. I learned that a lot of total strangers inside are nicer and more respectful than a lot of total strangers on the outside. I Iearned that people are generally racist and gravitate towards their own group, and that that is not necessarily a bad thing. Honor, pride, respect, and actions are more important than thoughts, beliefs, and words. I got really bored.
