appetite and lifting heavy

I'm doing strong lifts 5x5 and loving it. As my weights increase so does my appetite and I am growing my muscle and my body fat. I am trying to pay more attention to how I look and how my clothes fit than the number on the scale. I started incorporating hiit for the extra calorie burn, but haven't seen the changes I want.

Any tips for quenching the appetite and maintaining the energy to lift heavy without getting fat in the process?

I'm also curious about this. Lifting makes me a ravenous beast and I have plenty left to lose.

I think I may be underestimating how much water I need. You know the classic mistaking thirst for hunger... I'm going to start adding 1L water after my workouts with lemon (appetite suppressant, liver cleanser). Well see how it goes.

Well, I hope that works for you. I consume 2-3 litres of water daily, so I don't think that's my problem. Lemon makes the water taste nice, but I don't believe it has any magical detox or suppressant effects. Best of luck to you!
