One of the beautiful things about getting older is gaining wisdom. I remember as a kid my mom always saying...you have to WORK for what you want in life. Nothing worth doing is ever easy and if you choose the easy way out there is no reward. All my life I heard this amazing wisdom but today I really HEARD it. No magic or any potion, is going to get me where I want to be. It's going to take HARD WORK, SWEAT, maybe TEARS, and COMMITMENT. Becoming healthy and fit requires PATIENCE and ENDURANCE. Both of which I admit have always been stumbling blocks. We always want instant gratification. Immediate results. I have to remind myself that what took years of doing may take just as long to undo. In the mean time I need to strive for patience and endurance and just keep moving forward one step at a time. Have a beautiful day‼️

That is a great attitude but remember you don't have to change your entire life in one day. Make changes gradually. Your goal is to change your habits for life and that won't happen overnight.

Good luck and keep the positive attitude. :)

Slow and steady is the way to go. That, and don't compare yourself to others. Baby steps and count calories and log the good, the bad, and the ugly. It takes awhile to learn good habits and you will make slip ups. When you derail, start again tomorrow (not the following month!). Welcome to the journey we're all on.
