Hi I'm going to start using this app again I've only got around 10lbs to lose but struggling to get it off! I was doing the harcombe diet which is high fat and low carb, no sugar etc but felt so ill this morning and weak, could hardly walk and kept getting headaches I've given up with that one! Any advice on foods to miss out on? Was just thinking if make sure I eat more veg and salad with each meal and not so many carbs, so less bread, potatoes, rice etc and just have a small portion and make sure it's brown, and try and limit sugar, choc etc
I've been used to having eggs and bacon cooked in butter for breakfast, tuna salad for lunch or omelettes, and meat and veg or salad for tea all cooked in butter to have high fat but know this will need to change on this diet

How about eating all foods in moderation. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10257474/starting-out-restarting-basics-inside/p10

You don't need to miss out on any foods, or go low carb. You just need to eat at a calorie deficit. To make sure you're doing that weighing your food is your best bet.0

With only 10 lbs to lose, I highly recommend making sure your goals are realistic because it will come off a little more slowly when you're close to your goal weight! You don't have to avoid any particular foods to lose weight. You may want to eliminate certain things for health reasons and that's alright, but if a certain diet is making you feel weak and shaky, it may not be for you. Make sure you are getting enough calories to sustain your energy (I would highly recommend setting your goal to .5 lb/week with only 10 lbs to go) and listen to your body. Good luck!0

Completely agree with this and what everyone else has said. Just eat in moderation. CICO works.

and you cook your bacon in butter? you may want to rethink that - but hey if you can make it work with your macros, go for it lol0
