I'm Italian. Our tradition in our family is pasta every Sunday. Italian bread. Cheese etc I made it for my family. I had a salad. Ouch.

You could less of it or at least eat at maintenance level and nothing would change.

Oh I know. Just doing no or very little carbs. I can't just have a little pasta. Lol.

You could work some into your day, easy! Especially since you made it! You know exactly what's in it, can put it in the recipe builder and work out exactly what fits your day. Missing out on stuff you love and watching people eat it while you have a salad and feel sad is a slippery slope to giving up.

When I eat pasta (I really only eat it if I'm out and it's handmade), I would weigh out the 200 calorie portion and throw it in a big salad with meat and cheese. There's no way I can look at a serving of pasta on a plate and be okay with that for dinner. Gotta have volume!
