I'm trying to figure out what body shape I am all the calculators I've tried come up with different types... So here's a pic what do yall think I am. My measurements are bust 45.5 natural waist 35.25 and hips 46 gack?!? I can't wait to actually be able to tell a difference it takes me three times the amount of time to lose weight for some horrible reason. I always thought I was an hourglass but I've gotten hourglass pear and banana from different calculator.

I can't see any pics, but your measurements sound hourglass-y to me.0

I wasn't able to see a picture.
I'll say this...I would think those calculators would be inaccurate for a lot of people carrying extra weight.
When I'm low body fat, I'm hourglass - large bust, large hips in proportion to my waste. As I got bigger, my bust got bigger, my hips and booty got bigger...I stayed an hourglass. Even with a higher than normal BMI i wore a 32DDD bra.
But at an even higher bf% and my body finally started storing fat in my mid section and I'd now be considered a "banana" shape.
I'm hoping that "last on, first off" worlds for me and I get my waist back sooner than later0 -

Yeah, right now it sounds like hourglass. But that could change as you lose more inches. If you lose more up top but keep your hips, you could be a pear. It's easier to tell what your true shape is once you are closer to goal.0

I agree! Sounds like hourglass to me!0 -
What difference does it really make? If you carry extra weight then you're carrying extra weight regardless of your body shape. It's like the big boned controversy!0

She wants to know. Obviously she finds it interesting. Last time I checked that was her prerogative.0 -

Totally bogus crap. You don't need a special workout for a certain body shape. Lose fat, strengthen muscle. Simple, straight forward and effective.0 -
I strength train a different muscle group each day at the gym with free weights, use the stairstepper and use either the elliptical, or treadmill EVERY day. In addition to that I also do the 30 day shred EVERY day and run two-three times a week. Just because you don't think me switching it up a little with a BOGUS workout is bs doesnt mean it is. Isn't the point to be active? People have the right to work out however the hell they want. Yes, I'm fat, yes, my workouts slipped for a while while I was going through an unimaginably hard time in my life and at the same time I turned to food for comfort making my weight balloon, but until you have stood where I stand don't judge and don't belittle my efforts, I came here for support not to have someone judge me for no reason Thanks!0
