Is there a way to edit my daily calorie intake to adjust for breastfeeding. After putting my info in it told me my target was 1200 calories a day, but I need to add 500 to that to maintain my milk supply.

I'm a CLE, cert. lactation educator counselor. Good for you for BF. What's going to keep-up you milk supply is putting your baby to breast, skin-to-skin etc. Finish your PNV Rx and stick to low fat milk. If you are a skinny to normal weight mom I would want to consume the right calories, but if you are overweight try to just continue to eat healthy, rest and BF just as much as stated earlier. If you have a Nb don't introduce a bottle in the first 3 weeks since birth. That will get your baby used to a quick supply w/ little effort. Keep your baby to breast and that's what will keep your supply up. Hope you don't mind my 2 cents...
