Hello- new to MFP

Hello all, I'm just starting with MFP. My initial goal is to lose 18 lbs & tone up for a beach vacation in May. I'm 42, married with 3 kids (ages 21, 20 & 15), live in Missouri, and I'm a Registered Nurse. I work from home at a desk all day so I've become very sedentary. I need to improve my cardiac health as well, so here I am. I look forward to meeting others who are also focused on positive changes for 2016.

    What helps for me is trying to drink a 32oz water bottle before lunch time and always make it a habit to drink at least a glass or two of water 20 minutes before/during meals to prevent over eating. Also start paying closer attention to calories and what you consume. Little by little you will start to notice the difference.

    Yeah, water is one of my big struggles. Just not a huge fan of it. Have tried the flavoring stuff & still don't enjoy it. But I'm going to track my water intake as well so it'll remind me to drink up!
