Ok so ive got the dieting and exercising down packed... but even after a long day of watching what I eat and doing real decent work outs at the gym... im still lying in bed awake at ridiculous hours of the night when I REALLY just wanna close my eyes and go to sleep !! My life isnt stressful... i have no dramas going on.. i actually feel amazing like the best ive felt...Any tips for better sleeps or does anyone else out there have the same problem ??

seems to me that you might do workouts too close to bed hours. At least 3yours before bed hours, you need to rev down and one hour before your designated sleep hour, you need to avoid 'blue light' (smartphone, tablet, laptop, tv). You feel 'amazing' cause your Circadian rhythm is shifted by +hours. And while you still can cope with this (diet, sports, etc. pay a role here) things could be better if you took the time to fix the sleep. But as they say, if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it. Personally, I've always found fiction lecture to work amazing for deep sleep.

You haven't mentioned when is your last meal and your last exercise? Maybe one of the two is too close to your sleeping time.
I would suggest any of the following stuff. Don't use your phone, laptop or TV for at least hour before bed time.
Drink soothing tea, like chamomille or mint. Stretch for at least 15 minutes or do some yoga.
Move to bed around hour before sleeping, dim your lights, and try to do something relaxing like reading a book, magazine, doing some crosswords or sudoku (my favourite!).
You need to relax your body and slow down your brain before sleeping. I also find that if you light a candle or use some essential oils you will be able to relax more.
    Good luck!

Thanks @seanfto and @GsKiki ... I try go to the gym first thing in the morning... I have 2 children... so I like to get my work out done and out of the way so I can carry on with the rest of my day... and I never eat after 8pm... I do try to keep off my phone... but after a few hours of tossing and turning I get bored and admittedly I pick it up again lol ive been trying hot baths and relaxing teas...even sleeping tablets have no affect on me ! might have to give yoga a go :-)

Melatonin. It will fix your sleep in a few days if you are consistent with your sleep hours.

The blue light from computers and phones can stop the natural use and production of melatonin. You can get apps that filter out the blue light on things. Apparently you shouldn't be exposed to it up to two + hours before bed or it can mess up your sleep cycle big time. Good luck with getting to sleep! Camomile tea is nice and relaxing too!
