I am a 59 year old grandma who, along with my awesome husband, are raising our 6 year old grandson. Back in 09 I had 7 hours of back surgery and my weight has climbed since then. I need support and continued motivation to get this weight off, so I can be here for my grandson and family. I was never this overweight and enjoyed an active life, so I am very frustrated knowing what I am now missing out on. Sooooo with that said, I need some friends who also have a large amount of weight to loose so we can help one another through this challenging journey. My plan is to take it 10Ibs at a time so as not to get to overwhelmed.

That sounds like a good plan. Maybe a small reward when you lose 10 lbs? Once you start losing the weight using MFP, you will be amazed at how quickly it comes off! There's lots of encouragement on here. I'm a 59 year old granny too, I'll be your friend, if you'd like me to?0
