Paleo high-protein, non meat snacks?

I need some suggestions here.
I'm trying to eat paleo at least 80% of the time because I actually really enjoy it. Some days I do better than others but I am slowly getting the hang of it. The problem is that I'm not hitting my protein macro as well as I used to. I try to get 100+ grams of protein a day but lately it's been more like 80g. It used to be easy because I would snack on things like protein bars, protein shakes, greek yogurt, string cheese, etc. But none of that is allowed on paleo. Now it seems that everything I can snack on (nuts, fruit with nut butter, veggies, etc) are higher in carbs and/or fat than protein.
Does anyone have suggestions of paleo snacks that are truly high in protein? The reason I say "non meat" is because I'm pretty picky about meat and genearlly only eat chicken or ground beef. I incorporate those into my meals just fine but it's kind of hard to just "snack" on them because they take so much preparation. I'm looking for stuff I can just grab as I walk out the door. And I don't like to eat meat cold or plain so I can't just prepare chicken in advance and then bring it along to snack on throughout the day.
Maybe the problem is I'm just too picky... but any suggestions are welcome

not a Paleo diet follower - but I just had plain tuna, cottage cheese and greek yougurt for lunch. egg whites, and almonds are good protein foods too. can you have soy milk? like I said - I don't know the rules but those are my go to protein basics. I find shrimp and tuna in the "pack and go" package are very portable becasue you can eat them cold.0

All great suggestions, but unfortunately the picky eater thing still applies - I can't stand any sort of seafood, tuna included. Cottage cheese and greek yogurt are not allowed on paleo (no dairy products are allowed). Eggs are a great choice but kind of hard to grab n' go, unless they're hard boiled, which I do eat sometimes. Almonds are great and I eat them almost every day, but they're much higher in fat than protein - so if I've already hit my fat macro for the day but need more protein, almonds aren't the strongest choice.
Thank you for the suggestions though!! I wish it was easier to follow them lol.0 -
If you don't like meat very much, you might want to switch to the Mediteranean Diet or something else besides Paleo.0

No legumes or dairy on paleo. Almonds are okay, but not really high protein.
Eggs are good idea though.0 -

I've considered trying jerky, but it kind of weirds me out. Again, I'm weird about most meats. I'm beginning to realize that me being too picky probably *is* the problem here, hahaha.0 -

Yes, I'm going to have to start snacking on hard boiled eggs more often. The trick is just remembering to make them in advance!0 -

Unclean food from a box??? :noway:0 -
Why no legumes?
Odd.
That rules peanuts out then.0 -
I'm going to say no, there is no such thing. No high-protein paleo food that is not meat. Sorry.0

It says primal on it, it must be legit0 -

Despite the mountain of evidence that people who eat legumes regularly tend to be the healthiest overall, the Paleo diet makers choose to believe they are toxic to humans.0 -

I think it's a trick.0 -

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. Just hoping someone out there had a magical solution, lol.
Well as I said I'm only doing paleo 80%, so I can still snack on greek yogurt and such sometimes. The problem is on days like today, I'm going out for Chinese food with friends so I'm allowing that to be my non-paleo meal of the day. Meaning the rest of what I eat today should be paleo-friendly... which brings me back to not getting enough protein.
Thanks for the suggestions though, everyone!0 -

Yes, you are too picky.
The only portable non-meat, low-carb, high-protein paleo snack I can think of that you would eat is hard-boiled eggs. Make a dozen or so on Sunday and snack on them all week.0 -
greek yogurt, string cheese, etc
For an egg snack that's less boring, I make deviled eggs. You can make a lot of variations on deviled eggs, too, I think I saw one with avocado.
Other snacks...olives aren't very high in calories but they are nice and salty and bitesized.0 -

I've looked into primal, might try it out! Thanks
And I don't like olives unfortunately... I really am the worst eater lol0
