Any Brides To Be?

Good Afternoon!
My name is Mo, I'm living in New York (about two hours north of the city), and I'm 23 years old. I'm getting married to my best friend in February of 2017 and I just want to lose some weight before the big day. I am not expecting a dramatic change, and this is something I want to do, not something my fiance is making me do (to make that clear).
While the wedding is my short-term tangible reason for losing weight, I want to get healthy, too. My family has Type 2 Diabetes and other conditions related to weight in our genetics. I have PCOS myself, which makes hormones do wacky things and make it hard to lose weight.
On top of all of that, both my fiance and I have serious heart conditions in our family trees, and we want to achieve good habits now so we can prevent/prolong these conditions and/or encourage healthy habits in our future children.
I don't have many in-person friends or family members that are health-minded at this time. This is the first time I'm actually buckling down and doing it. I love being sedentary and I love indulging in food, but I want to do this right.
I just want to be a little slimmer for my wedding next year. Any other brides, grooms, same-age peoples around? Need a support system here!
We got this, folks!

I lost about 65 lbs over the course of the course of the last two years for my sister's wedding and have maintained it for the past year, but want to tone up and lose another 15-20 before then!
