What can be done to lose 50lbs by June?

The very definition of "drastic" is severe.
Why would you want to do anything severe to your body?
You're about to get asked if you're severely overweight, because unless you're at a very high starting point, 50lbs in less than 6 months is very unattainable, unlikely, and probably unhealthy.
Then you will be told a healthy weight loss is 1-2lbs per week, though you'll likely lose more in your first week or two.
You probably won't like the very reasonable responses you get because you want "drastic" and you want it now.0 -

Depending on your starting weight you might be able to lose 40 lbs (by mid June) by putting your settings to lose 2 lbs a week and sticking to that calorie goal. There are no magic tricks to losing weight, no pills, teas or weird detoxes that will speed it up. Exercise will allow you to create a buffer in losing weight so you can eat a bit more. Please read the stickies, they are very useful for people just starting out.0 -

All of the above.
Keep in mind that while 1-2 pounds per week may be widely considered to be a safe rate of loss, that doesn't mean that 2 pounds is a good goal for everyone. In general, most nominally obese to overweight women should aim more in the .5-1.5 pound per week range in order to maintain proper nutrition and be reasonably comfortable while losing.0 -
calories in < calories out = weight loss. That said 50 lbs by June is too lofty of a goal. Change your eating habits to weigh and measure everything. Then log without fail. If you do this you will be closer to your goal in June.0

Well I'm shooting for 25-30 by the end of August and I understand there's a good chance it may not happen that fast for me.
Not sure how you'll pull off 50 by June...unless you do something unhealthy.0 -

Start now
Weigh your food, log your calories accurately
Move more
Start a progressive resistance programme at least 3 times a week
Stick to your calorie allowance across the week, do not deviate
May not be 50lbs but you will look and feel a whole lot better by June0 -

Cut off a limb. That's pretty drastic and I don't really recommend it.0

Agreed.
If you don't want to go that route, figure 1% of your bodyweight a week.

Get started and tune your diet and activity as you go. 50 by June is 2 lbs/wk, but whether that's a lot or a little depends on where you're starting.0
