Hi Everyone,

My name is lynn, I have been on here for 1 week, lost about 3 lbs. I struggle with weight loss, As a Kid, a Teen and even as a young adult I had to fight to GAIN weight, I ate anything I wanted and still was a STICK. Now in my 40's I am more like a TREE. I have terrible habits, Love wine and Sodas, Eat biggest meal right before bed, hate to exercise, and worst of all I am a GREAT Cook. so this losing weight thing is a big challenge for me.
Once before I developed a diet for myself that really worked, it was sooo easy. I just bought the pre packaged frozen meals (banquet etc.. ) made sure they were all in the 300 calorie range and ate 3 per day, drank crystal light drinks and wa- lah. 35 lbs came off in a matter of just a few months. It was great. ONLY Problem is I did not continue to eat that way. I went right back to my same old habits, gained that weight back plus some.
So this time I am trying a more realistic approach, something I think I can keep up even after losing the weight I need to take off.
I am just drinking lots of smoothies with lots of kale and spinach, I am trying to eat one big meal per day in the middle of the day. Instead of depriving myself of the wine that I love so much, I cut it down to 1 glass of sangria on the week-ends mixed with some v8 fusion, cuts the calories and makes the sangria very yummy. It may take a little longer to take the weight off this way, but I think I will be more likely to keep it off.
anyway, sorry this little intro turned into a bio... hello everyone and GOOD LUCK TO US ALL

The best "diets" are the ones that teach you moderation while still enjoying your favorite foods. Feel free to add me and I'll cheer you on!0
