Yeah it fits in with my calories, I have 1490 calories a day before workouts and that smoothie is 221, that smoothie does have 46g of carbs and 33gofsugar, hubby told me that I should only have 40g of carbs a day and no sugar of any kind, this app says 183g carbs and 89g sugar I'm so lost so far I've had around 80g carbs the past few days so I thought I was doing good and I've been under my sugar between 14-20g

It can't ALWAYS be 221 cals- Break out the food scale! I've seen bananas alone that are 200 cals.

Some people report that they can better control all kinds of cravings if they avoid fruit, but everyone's different. If you're staying within your calorie goals and your weight is dropping, you're fine. A lot of us do better with portion control than with categorizing all our food as "good" or "bad." There are tons of studies out there, but they all contradict each other, so the most important information you're going to get is from your own progress.

He's not as smart as this app is :) It's all math, CICO, your smoothie is a perfect breakfast if it satisfies you :)

OP, I agree with this piece of advice. Get a food scale if you don't have one. Preferably a digital one. I use one, so I know that my smoothie is always going to be a set number of calories. It increases when I add protein powder or flax seeds. But the base is always 115 calories.
