New NSV ... Not exercising!

So, I have an old addiction to exercise. Remember the Gladiators? I trained with a contender, professional male and female competitive bodybuilders, and nightclub door supervisors (that'd be bouncers to the English here!) in a pretty seedy gym that had great kit.
I was hooked, totally. I only started going to accompany a friend who wanted to lose weight (i didn't) and there was a cheap membership on. Before long I was there 6 nights a week, 3 to 4 hours, aerobics, step, circuits, free weights, heavy weights. 100lbs 5'3 pure muscle.
Stress at work .. No problem .. I could control what I did at the gym ... And still down half a bottle of rye whiskey afterwards.
I got all that more balanced ... Figured the exercise was blocking me from dealing with the real stress issue so I sorted the stress with a major career change. I tried exercising over the last 15 years and EVERY time I just get hooked on the adrenaline and the desire to push harder, achieve more.
Here I am losing 14 vanity pounds, healthily, moderate exercise, keeping the balance ... or so I said. Hmmmmm.
Tonight I got home from work and my husband asked why I wasn't exercising tonight. I said 'because I think I might be repeating old patterns'. He said ' oh, that's great! Me and (my son) saw the look on your face and exchanged a glance this week, we knew you'd gone'.
My NSV is that I saw my unhealthy exercise obsession developing and I stopped before I got there
(As a PS I have to say the muscles don't half come back quicker than you might think after a 15 year break!
