Starting over

Trying to start over. About 2 yrs ago I dropped from 226 to 195 in about 5-6 months then became complacent. Now I'm up around 210 and having a hard time sticking to the willpower. I basically counted calories and worked out hard/ran 3x a week. I don't work out as much now (which will change next month) but need to get back to counting calories. Problem is I'm always hungry. Steak, chicken, proteins, no matter what I eat I'm always hungry. I just need to reset my "appetite thermostat" and re-learn that it's OK to be hungry sometimes. I also need to eat cleaner. I eat a good amount of processed junk although I've cut back from a few years ago. But I don't like veggies, salads, etc so I need to work on that.

I just needed to put all this down in writing so that I could admit to myself what I need to focus on and what I'm lacking.

Look into using the 21-day fix portion control containers. I use them and for me I really stick to this. Most of time I am never hungry, but on occasion I am out-of-control hungry. You will need to eat your veggies and fruits with this plan. I bought mine on Amazon and I follow the 1200 calorie plan. There are other calorie plans you can follow and there is also a cookbook you can order.

    I REALLY like them.

Your story is my story. I'm back after gaining back 13 pounds of the weight I lost 3 years ago. Frustrating to say the least. I eat healthy enough, just too much. Keeping track on MFP seems to be the only way I can hold myself accountable. Good luck to you.
