Hi everyone, I'm just getting back into everything. I'm looking at going down to 160lbs. I want to do it healthy. I want to feel better about myself and be proud.

Right now I am
Female
28yrs old
180lbs
5ft 10in
Hopefully that helps

I am havin problems with food. I don't know a lot, it sounds silly. I don't know many good foods or how to make them. I'm ignorant to it all I guess. My goal is 2000 calories a day, right now I average 700-1300. I tend to forget to eat or food doesn't sound good.

I work retail 3 days a week and I am a part time supervisor at ups. I am active and move around alot. I'm walking around 6-8 miles a week for exercise.

What I'm really looking for is help. Whether it's friends, people to talk to, give me ideas or hold my hand. Doing this alone is hard

If you want to lose weight at your age with your current weight and height you should aim for about 1700 calories per day (if you don't exercise).

    Here's what works for me.

Most days I have Steel Cut Oats for breakfast with 2 tablespoons of molasses. I also have a cup of coffee wth 2 tablespoons of sugar. This totals about 550 calories give or take.

For lunch its either grilled chicken breast with some type of fruit and greek yogurt or a tuna melt sandwich with fruit on the side.

For dinner during the week i alternate between Mahi Mahi and Chicken, usually about 4 oz. I then add on about 2 cups of mixed vegetables which is about 4 servings. I basically stir fry all of that in about a tablespoon of olive oil.

Then I do a workout and after I eat 1 to 2 servings of some type of greek yogurt.

On the weekends I'm a little more relaxed and I'll have turkey bacon with eggs and apple slices for breakfast and usually do peanut butter on whole wheat for lunch and then I'll do some kind of pasta for dinner alfredo or spaghetti.

The main thing that helps me with continuously eating chicken and fish is to find new and exciting ways to spice it up.

I wish you good luck on your journey. Give it time and dedication and you will reach your goal. Feel free to message me anytime if you have any questions or need help / motivation.
