MFP Recipe Tool: Can we make duplicate recipes?

I'm trying to make different versions of my protein bar recipe and it would really help if I can duplicate my recipe so I only need to change one ingredient. Is there a way of doing that so I don't have to manually make a new recipe each time?

I never have found a way. I just make a base recipe, then exchange ingredients when I switch it up... then again I cook for one week in advance usually.0

What you can do is to copy the ingredients from the saved recipe page and paste them into the box where you put ingredients to import a recipe (under the "add recipe manually" link). Its not quite as good as being able to make a duplicate, but it can save a little time if all of your ingredients are "found" by the recipe builder. (You'd think they would be, but they aren't always.)0

That's a great tip, thanks!0

Thanks for the tip.
There should be a copy/duplicate function. Seems like a big oversight in the design of this site.
I should not complain though. This is a valuable tool. Well done!1 -
Unbelievable that there is no copy/duplicate function! Who designs these apps?1
