Hi all
I'm a 23 year old woman from the UK, currently at 5' 6 and around 20stone (280lbs). I've always been overweight/obese, and have had countless attempts to change my weight. There has been occasional success, but I've always put the weight back on.
I'm convinced that's because I have been unrealistic in the ways I've tried to lose weight in the past (unsustainable cardio stints and ridiculously low calorie restrictions). I'm hoping that this time I'll be able to lose the weight in a slow but rational way. In terms of ideal weight, eventually I'd like to reach maybe around 160lbs (exactly half of what I weigh now), but that's going to take time I'm sure!
I've been told accountability is important and, from previously checking out this site, the community here has seemed great! I'd love to get to know a few of you so feel free to add me and we can get started on this together!
