Take it with a pinch of Salt.... thoughts

I have never logged my food. I have never really thought about it. I just exercise and eat when I am hungry. When I am exercising I generally eat cleaner than when I am not.
Doing MFP food logging has led me to notice that I haven't managed to reach my salt intake. I normally miss it by miles.
I am a runner and HICT kinda gal. I don't cramp, I don't sweat much when I run or generally (until i start an insanity workout then i spring a serious leak) and I don't add salt to my food. I don't have any congenital condition for not liking/not eating salt.
I am not massively concerned as if I was i would go to the doctor. I just wanted to know peoples thoughts on this.
Is it bad for you not to reach your recommended daily salt intake value?

While we do need sodium to be healthy, the goal on MFP is a recommended maximum -- not a minimum.0

While it is a maximum, problems can absolutely arise from not getting enough salt in your diet, especially if you're active. It's not discussed much, because it's almost impossible not to get enough salt in your diet these days, but it is possible.0 -

Which is why I pointed out that we do require SOME, but that shouldn't be confused with thinking that the number MFP provides is the amount required for good health. That number is a recommended maximum and one shouldn't feel like one is missing a goal if one consumes less than this.0 -

True, I wish OP would have stated her average salt intake, that would have been helpful lol.0 -
That is the point I think I have missed AJ_G. I was thinking it was a goal to aim for like my calories.
Thanks for pointing this out and consequently how much of a goal achiever / box ticker I am hahaha.
I must be getting enough salt because i am not cramping out, but I will stop pondering this now.
Cheers Guys
