Has anyone done a cleanse to jump start weight loss?

Drink water. Honestly, it's the best thing for your liver. Cleanses do nothing for weight loss. Lowering calories does.0

People that do are basically wasting their money. There's NOTHING that a cleanse does for you that just lowering your calories and drinking more water won't do......for free.

I have done cleanses in the past so can speak for experience:
Yes you lose weight, and yes you can keep it off if you are lucky.
Downside is:
It is extremely unhealthy
You cannot exercise
You are prone to low blood sugar and dizzy spells
You learn nothing about nutrition and how to keep the weight from coming back on again
Headaches
Irritability
Insomnia
Hungerpains
Bad breath
Loss of concentration
Forget any social life
