Just checking in.

Hi,
I am just starting my journey to better health. I am 62 years old and have had some major life changes in the last two years. I dealt with it my feeding my emotions! I am on this journey to start eating better; hoping the results will be that I feel better and have more energy. I have lots of extra weight I am dragging around. The catalyst for this is that my blood sugar was slightly elevated at my check up at the end of the year.
Looking forward to engaging in this community.

    Totally understand emotional eating! But that's great that you're starting the journey now :) Any specific plans for eating better and controlling the blood sugar?

    I am just counting calories, trying to eat healthy every four hours. There was a special on PBS about trying to eat just real food. It made a lot of sense to me so I am trying to stay away from most things that are processed. Also I started walking again this week.
    So what kind of diet are you doing.
