What does it matter? Do you have HIV? If so, DON'T LISTEN TO RANDOM PEOPLE ON A FORUM, LISTEN TO YOUR DOCTOR SPECIALIZING IN HIV AND AIDS! If not, again, why are you worried about what Charlie Sheen is taking for HIV when he's a celebrity with no real knowledge of virology or immunology?
While you're absolutely right, I thought I'd offer you this:

Huh?
And if it's on Dr. Oz, it's bogus anyway.0 -

Charlie Sheen was on Dr. oz, and he says he is no longer HIV positive because his blood tests should an undetectable amount of the virus. HOWEVER, he can still pass on the disease as the viral load in other bodily fluids can be higher even if the blood test shows otherwise. He will have to be on HIV medication for the rest of his life.
Dr. Oz is actually a great surgeon, but he bought into his own hype and now shills anything and everything.0 -

There was recently an entire thread about alternative "medicine" in which posters advocated foregoing proven medical intervention in favor of folklore and plants. Having watched a family member die of AIDS, I fully appreciate @senecarr's vociferous admonishment about where to seek treatment advice.

Next time on Dr. Oz, dating advice, attraction and why dating apps aren't great. Not even kidding. Watch for it in the next few weeks.
Dr. Oz. Heart surgeon, nutritionist and now love doctor. What will he be expert in next, home repair?0 -

I was empathizing with the frustration I imagine he feels, not disagreeing.0 -

I only clicked because I saw Charlie Sheen and Dr. Oz in the same title. I have to say, I am sadly disappointed at the lack of mean people in this thread.0

It boggles my mind that Dr Oz went through med school and is actually a good cardio-thoracic surgeon and pretty accomplished, yet buys into all these vitamins and supplements and had the balls to say he believes in everything he shills when he testified at a congressional hearing.0 -

Do you mean Ben Carson? if so, that's because he's an SDA member. I'm an SDA too and sometimes there are some wacky beliefs due to it.0 -

Quacks, not idiots.
Quacks are people that promote things that are not supported by science.0 -

What I meant was that it was almost as though the OP was a like a little kid putting their fingers in their ears and saying "LALALALALALALALA" loudly as everybody else posts that Oz is nothing but a shill for the woo-woo medical business.0 -

Lol. With bringing up those two names she's asking for trouble, attempts to orchestrate responses notwithstanding.

I used to take bee pollen everyday for my hay fever, it completely disappeared, plus it has protein amongst other nutrients. I can not see how it would help with HIV though :huh:0 -

Don't the bees get ticked off when you suck the pollen off of their little legs?0 -
I thought Dr. Oz had hit rock bottom - but he continues to amaze me with the depths he can sink to. Charlie Sheen for health/nutrition advice? Really??? Mind. Blown.0
