I've been bulking for 1 month, gained 4.8kg (10.5 lbs) I dont know if im gaining muscles or not :/

The before picture Stats (11 Dec 2015):

Neck: 36 cm
Waist: 76.5 cm
Hip: 89 cm
Bodyfat: 10.8%

The After picture stats (11 Jan 2016)

Neck: 37cm
Waist: 81.5cm

People say that you should stop bulking when you hit 15% bodyfat, im so close to 15% but i dont feel like i build the muscles i want in the period of 1 month.

So, please tell me if you see any difference in the pictures, and advice me when to stop bulking for my condition.

And im a newbie, so any advice or criticism opinion or insult :P could help me

My idol is Zyzz

I workout 5 times a week, nearly 1 hour and 20 minutes per day. I'm 180 cm, 72.8 kg (160 lbs), bodyfat 14.1%.

Thank You

You're not building 10 lbs of muscle in a month. 1-2 lbs is about all you can expect. If you gained 10, the rest is a combination of fat and water weight.

Honestly I don't see any difference between the two pics.

I can't see a difference yet. Maybe try flexed? Keep with a bulk, imho, to put on more muscle before cutting, yeah. Folks are going to ask about your program, how many days a week are lifting days, and your protein intake. I don't know enough about programs to have answers so I'll just mention that and say good luck :)

Blunt honesty especially having a trained eye in bodybuilding....................nope. You lost a little definition, but the expectation of building A LOT of muscle in one month is overzealous. And if you're listening to Zyzz realize that the boy was on PED's which makes a HUGE difference in building mass. Not the route to take unless you plan on competing in upper echelon bodybuilding competitions.

I have no advice, criticism, or insult. I have a compliment!

In your pictures, you remind me of popular musician/artist from my adolescence. He goes by "The artist formerly known as prince."

I like your strong jaw :)

You haven't built 10lbs of muscle in a month, it doesn't work like that!

You won't gain 10lbs of muscle in a month, nobody does. Expect 1-2lbs max, the rest will be fat or water weight as mentioned. Keep going and you'll reach your goal, but if muscle is your main focus, I'd slow it down a little.

Also, how did you measure bf%? IMO you're nowhere close to 15% yet. Realise that a lot of body fat tests, with the exception of things like bod-pod etc are very inaccurate.

Just out of curiosity, what do you think his bf% is? Nowhere close means he's way off, are you suggesting he is something like 20% ?

    He's saying well under 15%.
He could continue his bulk, but try to hit a slower gain than the current 3 lbs a week.

It takes longer than a month to build muscle.
