I had an old motoactv watch that was awesome for running as it had Gps and could store music, I am looking for something that would be similar but could also monitor heart rate. In a perfect world it would also let me store music from Spotify but I've heard that's not possible. Anybody have any positive experiences from these smart watches they would recommend?

TomTom Spark Cardio stores up to 500 songs and has an optical HR monitor and GPS. I've never used it, but I used the TomTom Runner which was just the GPS watch. I really liked it. Their software is bare bones, but mostly worked (unlike the Garmin Connect I'm currently using - more features, but many are annoyingly inconsistent). The only issue I had with the TomTom was the current pace was very flaky and off. Average pace was spot on.0

Awesome! Thanks for the input! I was looking at the tomtom runner, didn't know how easy it all was to use but looks like it is good0
