A Bucket List- "A list of things to do before you die. Comes from the term "kicked the bucket"."

Alot of conversations about this going round the office today, so I thought it would be nice for us to share our top 10 ambitions/things we want to do before we're 30/50/100/kicked the bucket (you get the idea). They dont have to be huge or life changing or scary... just 10 (or as many as you want) things you wish to achieve in your life.

I'll start....

1. Spend a year travelling to foreign far away lands including New Zealand
2. Lose 150lb
3. Give 1 child a loving home
4. Own at least 1 home
5. Celebrate 50 years of marriage with the man I love
6. Complete at least one degree in a subject of my choice
7. Run a marathon
8. Learn to Drive
9. Be completely debt free
10. Learn to play an instrument well

    1. Enroll and complete Courses at Le Cordon Bleu in Vegas.
    2. Vacation in Hawaii & Caribbean.
    3. Make the run to Sturgis
    4. Retire in Vegas
    5. Live long enough to see what special things my daughters do.
    6. Travel within the US.

Not much else on my list. I have already travelled Asia, Europe, the Americas. Already skydived, bungee jumped, cliff dived, spelunked, survived in the wilderness, raced cars & motorcycles. Loved and been loved. Witnessed birth, death, tragedy. Competed in Karate, boxing, football, soccer, rugby. Sometimes at international levels.

Now I am ready to relax and watch as my daughters' lives unfold. See where it takes them.

I never put it into words. I usually just say "I want that/to do that one day." I can think of a few off the top of my head

    1. Watch my boys (15 and 13) get married
    2. Take my family to Hawaii
    3. Visit my Dad (and other family) in California
    4. Debt Free
    5. Buy my second home
    6. Weigh 125 for at least 2 years (for life would be better)
    7. KEEP MY HOUSE SPOTLESS DAILY!!!
    8. Take a cruise (destination to be determined)
    9. Travel to landmarks/monuments around the US

    1. Run a 5K
    2. Move back to the midwest.
    3. Own my own home. (at my age will probably never happen but I can dream)
  • My list is short.

    1. Find happiness inside with myself
    2. Live long enough to watch my kids grow and become a Grandma!
    3. See my husband and children happy

    1. Travel, travel, travel! I want to have at least been to every continent.. so I've still got a couple to go. Especially wanting to go to Finland (for a snow adventure and to see the northern lights), South Africa (on safari) and Thailand (because my fiance really wants to go)

    2. Raise my children (well, maybe just child) back in Australia but maybe have them in the UK, who knows - oh how I miss Aus!

    3. Own at least one house for renting purposes

    4. Buy some property in Aust and have a home built

    5. Work in a hands-on research study, perhaps to get a PHD but not necessarily

    6. Live in at least one other country - perhaps Canada

Hmm I think I had better leave it there... I might run out of time for all of it!

Oh, I forgot. I definitely don't want to die before my son becomes self-sufficient.
