Weight gain when new to exercise

Help! I've lost over 40 lbs and recently joined a gym to help my body continue to improve. However, within two weeks, 8 workouts of mostly cardio, I've gained back ten pounds!! No change in diet. Still extremely low carb, no gluten or grains. What's going on? Will that weight come back off? I'm frustrated.

You're probably eating more calories due to increased hunger, plus your muscles holding water in order to repair themselves.0
