I have a gluten sensitivity. I can eat it, but if I overdo it I get really bloated, constipated then diarrhea. Terrible Heartburn if I ever eat Cheese Its. I just really try not to eat things with gluten, but every once in a while something really calls to me and I deal with the after effects.0

booze,,, but that does not stop me, ha ha0

I have a tad problem with Lactose. Especially if I have ice cream I sometimes get a stomach ache. My youngest daughter is very very lactose intolerant she can't have any regular milk at all or she will throw up. I usually just buy the Deans Easy or Lactaid Milk and even use that to cook with most times.0

Raw veggies
Sugar alcohols
Fiber One anything
We call Fiber One bars Fart Bars!0 -
Dairy & red meat causes increased inflammation in my body. I used to love cottage cheese with pineapple chunks, but if I eat the cottage cheese my ankles hurt sooo bad. Dairy also causes me to bloat & Ice Cream causes my nose to get stuffy & lots of phlegm, pretty sure those are all signs of a lactose intolerance, so I just gave it up & feel so much better.0

I have within the last year had a fish problem. It really upsets my stomach. I haven't thrown up from it yet but I sure felt like it. It's too bad since its so good for you and I do like it.0

I ended my relationship with organic broccoli, it turned out she was plain old industrial farmed cauliflower0

I am wondering how prevalent food sensitives and allergies are. I don't have any allergies to foods, but I've had to cut out some foods that bother me:
Sugar, Sucralose & other sweeteners, except stevia: migraines
Soy, Dairy, Greasy foods (like sausage and butter), Soda and Chinese Food (takeout): digestive problems
Kiwi Fruit and Walnuts: hurt my tongue, feels like I got a fish hook in my tongue.
Have you had to cut something out that doesn't agree with you?
I don't usually drink pop... however when I started really watching, I hated just plain water also. I know... right? SO... I started drinking Crystal Light and the Mio...and even just the Great Value sugar free mixes. MAN.... talk about a HEADACHE!!!! Literally... my head felt like it would explode after drinking a few cups of that stuff. So... I'm left with dealing with plain ole water. Before I would drink lots of juices... loved loved loved juices! Loaded with sugar! ((but of course not the fake sugar...REAL sugar! lol))
Tomato sauce of ANY kind has my acid reflux flaring and I want to just puke so I don't have to deal with the pain anymore. And I love tomatoes, but refuse to eat them now that it makes me absolutely ill.
I see you also had issues with the artificial sweetners... makes you really wonder if it gives people headaches.... what does that stuff do to a person LONG term ya know?0 -
Dairy products, as in cottage cheese, cream cheese, milk, sometimes give me stomach aches and bloating. For a few years I was completely off it, now I eat small amounts and can keep it under control.
Tofu hates me ( but that's OK because I hate it back). It causes WWIII In my stomach.
Anything that is very processed will make me very thirsty and/or headaches and/or diarrhea, so I tend to avoid.
Peppers - other than small amount of hot peppers I cannot eat peppers don't even like to be around fresh peppers. They cause me nausea and stomach aches. I can tolerate small amounts of roasted ones if I peel them first.0 -
Onions. I can handle them in small amounts every now and then, but if I eat a lot of onion or foods containing onion in one go or small amounts over a few days, I get digestive troubles and a lot of pain.0
-
Strawberries - I can only eat about four before wishing that I hadn't.
Diet Coke does some strange things to me involving sports and twitching thighs...0 -
Two severe food allergies: shellfish and kiwi fruit. Luckily, I don't seem to have any other food allergies/intolerances/sensitivities.0

Yup, definitely no fiber one. No milk, yogurt. No cocktails though I would occasionally do one. Wine and beer seem ok. Not fan of turkey either.0
-
Peanut butter as of late. Can have say 15g of the stuff, any more I bloat out and get explosively ill. Shame as I'm in love with the stuff!0

Since I was a kid, I've had issues digesting eggs and leafy greens (mainly iceburg). now, as an adult, that allergy/sensitivity has started to spread to romaine and spinach and food with too much egg (like French Toast). I'm also lactose intolerant.
Real eggs I keep to a minimum, but I have found that I can handle Egg Beaters a lot better so am able to eat that more often. I still eat Romaine and Spinach, but I make sure to eat it in smaller portions.0 -
Medifast.
It was the biggest mistake I have ever made to try to lose weight. You don't need special diet food to loose weight. It wasn't that bad at first. I got used to the small meals and some of it doesn't taste that bad. But I found I was loosing almost as much muscle mass as I was fat! And since I have Muscular Dystrophy, that is a major concern because when I loose muscle, I don't ever get it back. I also found I had a growing intolerance to all the protein concentrates. It got to the point that I was feeling sick almost every time I ate. I gave it up, and started eating real food again, I started feeling better almost immediately. I loosing fat, and gaining sacromers and I am feeling much better.0 -
Food not agreeing with me is a foreign concept. We tend to get along all too well.
I do have oral allergy syndrome with tomatoes, bananas, and pineapple, though. Hasn't stopped me from eating them.0 -
Kefir = worst fart ever.0
-
shrimps0

Foods that I don't like the taste of. I eat everything else and I'm particularly fond of whole wheat, beef, milk, cheese, eggs, seafood, and red bean chili with lots of beef. And that's all the better if washed down with beer.0
-
The only meats that I can eat are turkey and chicken. Any other meat just runs right through me and makes me nauseous the rest of the day.0
-
I don't have allergies or anything, but i love licorice and stuff, right? And too bad there is this one kind of licorice that makes me sick..
But apart from that i can eat close to everything.0 -
Stuffing!!! Plain old Sage & Onion stuffing really upsets my stomach, but I still eat it and deal with the consequences the next day!!!0

I am gluten sensitive (gives me headaches, skin breakouts, upsets my stomach) and very recently started having a pretty violent digestive reaction to bananas (felt like something was trying to claw its way out of my intestines). I went 29 years of my life with no food sensitivities, and now all of a sudden... so, to the person who said that at 29 it's unlikely that he/she will develop any allergies, think again! They can develop at any point without any warning.0

Caffeine. I have zero tolerance. I have never had a cup of coffee in my life. Energy drinks like 5 Hour Energy give me splitting head aches. I took a workout muscle building supplement that had a large amount of caffeine in it. I only took 1/3 of the maximum dose and it was enough to make me even more ill than the 5 Hour Energy. I had visual auras and went into heart palpitations that almost made me pass out. It seems like it is impossible to find a supplement without caffeine. I instead take a nutritionally fortified whey protein supplement.0

I have found that greasy food now upsets my stomach. Bread and cheese make me feel bloated. Do I still eat all these? Sometimes, because I still enjoy the experience of eating them on some level.
And I don't really like cow's milk. Just because.0 -
I'm not allergic to dairy cuz I still drink milk, eat eggs, butter, etc. But cheese is the only one that gets me going to the bathroom lol. And of course salt makes you bloat, so that's pretty bad for me too.0
-
I'm slightly lactose intolerant. It's bad enough that a couple of glasses of milk will send me to the bathroom, but not bad enough that I can't eventually adapt if I'm forced to take it for a couple of weeks.0
-
I have a food intolerance for raw mushrooms. Causes severe digestive upset for hours.0
-
Kashi Go Lean... I discovered this and loved it to death. Within a few hours I felt like death, omg the gas. Never. Again. Was a pity since it was so good.0
