I am 5'1 and on a 1200 calorie/day. I have been staying on track and was wondering if anyone has an estimate or success stories that have similar situations.

    It would depend on your activity level and how much defecit. Are you working out?

    I am working out but not crazy. I will usually do 20-30 minutes on the elliptical 4-5 days a week, a yoga class and household chores (shoveling snow, stacking wood, etc)

    How much do you have to lose/what's your goal?

    You'll likely lose more at the start and lose less and less as you get leaner. Some weeks you'll lose more than others.

    I have seen a weight loss time estimator calculator somewhere around here.... Google it and maybe you'll find it. It's fun, if nothing else.

    Just the consistent 1200 calories you should drop approx 2 lbs a week maybe more in the beginning. I workout 3 days a week and stick to 1200 cal. And I have lost 3 lbs a week on average. Of course age etc would factor in too. I'm 43

    Too general. It depends what deficit 1200 calories creates. 3lbs, even 2lbs per week is way too aggressive for nearly everyone.

    No idea on your height, weight, or goal.
    Here is my 1200 story.
    Start 2008/09 - 5'1, 130 lbs, 55yo, very sedentary.
    End 2009- 105 lbs 56 yo, moderately active.
    Maintain 2016, 103 lbs (100-105 range), 62yo.

    1200 cals for 1lbs a week loss ate back on average 150csls per 60 min of exercise.
    The first 5-8 lbs came off in a flash. The mid 10 lbs were probably at 1lbs a week, dropping to .5. The last 8-5 took months of staying on the ball and tight logging.

    Overall it took around 10-11 months to lose 30lbs. I always count it as a year as the last couple of months were stabilization months.

    Being petite and old it ended up my very sedentary cals are 1200.
    I think I eat about 1400 with exercise, but not sure as I log infrequently - to say the least.
