Jump Start your weight loss!

I am just starting up with MFP again after 2 years. If some of you are in the 3rd month or more in your journey please leave tips on ways to jump start your journey. All tips are welcome.

    There are no tricks. Traditionally people lose a bit of water weight to begin which gives that first little happy feeling on the scale. The biggest tips I can give is, get a scale if you don't have one. Weigh dry foods, measure liquids. Log everything.

    Start with those habits and build on them every day. I found building new habits a couple at a time worked well for me, but you may be different.

    1. Drink lots of water
    2. Weigh everything on a food scale
    3. Try to move a little more everyday
    4. If you have a bad day pick yourself up and start again right away
    5. Be kind to yourself
