Hey guys, so I need some help with my eating. I feel like I'm either eating way to many carbs and fats or not enough calories. In trying to lose weight, my main goal is to lose 120, but my first mini goal is 80lbs. Any ideas as what to eat would be great !!! I'll open my food diary so you now what eating.

I think looking at your diary youre doing okay, I would recommend you to check on Pinterest some foods that are actually really good to burn calories, meaning when you eat them your body has to work for them e.g. cucumbers. You can follow me on Pinterest Odile Horjus and read my board Fit food It will give you loads of ideas with good articles to back everything up. I like to study a little bit on this subject once in a while to make my choices more automatic instead of waisting a long time studying in the supermarket all the labels. I noticed you are using a lot of light products. Actually its not necessary and pretty expensive as well. Start introducing more fruits and vegetables in your diet. Also have a bigger breakfast. If you start a diet and only eat one slice of bread with some creamcheese you will go crazy in the afternoon and start binging. Result: bye to the light foods and all the money spent and hello calories and guilt. Make a mealplan, stick to the grocerylist and dont be too harsh on yourself. good luck!

Negative calorie foods are a myth.

Looks like you're doing pretty good. One thing you might want to also look at is your macros to see where your calories are coming from.

But to your real question on what to eat, nuts are a great source of fat and some protien and keep you full. I see you're eating almonds already keep that up.

Chicken breast is a fantastic meat because it's low in fat. When I cut I got most of my protien from protien powder.

I agree negative calorie foods are a myth but foods like spinach are fantastic because you can eat huge amounts of it for little calories, plus they are filled with micro nutrients a few good ones are spinach, celery, and brocoli.

Carbs I would recommend steel cut oats (or rolled) they are a perfect breakfast because they will keep you full. Most people limit carbs while doing a calorie deficit, but they should be included in your diet. I recommend just make them high quality carbs (whole wheat, less pecoessed).

First, know you CAN totally eat more and keep losing, just as an FYI!

One tip I have that helps me get a pretty balanced macro diagram is to limit my carb choice to dinner or lunch, not both, and I gave myself a minimum of protein. I prelog my day so I can make sure I get the balance I want before actually eating any of it so I can adjust if needed :)
