Hi there, question: I just did on a stairmaster a 15 minutes training and I also did an 15 minutes ab training.
When I want to enter 'stairmaster' or 'abs' MFP doesnt get any results. I only started using MFP on monday, so I dont have a clue what I should enter in order to process these activities for my daily report.
Thanks for helping out.

If you can't find the exercise you can click add exercise. it lets you create the exercise in the database, though you will have to enter cals burned, as MFP will not know how much that activity should burn.

exercise/calorie calculators all over the internet. You figure it out, then make your own exercise, esp if it's something you're going to do frequently. Also, "stair climber" is another name for stair master (similar enough activity). Creating custom exercises is the best way to go.

    Stair climber: "Stair-treadmill ergometer, general"

For abs, depending on what you are doing and how vigorous, maybe calisthenics.

I have this problem as well. I use the 21 Day Fix tapes but I don't have one of those fit watcher items. I am not in a position to buy one (even if my employer will reimburse me.) I tried searching for information online but every site explains that it depends on the person which doesn't help me at the moment. I would like to track it but I don't see how.

I have a FitBit, so don't take my word on it, but I've seen people say that they will log the videos as circuit training.

ETA: This is another reason why it's a good idea to only eat about 50% of calories burned back when you first start and then adjust according to how your body is reacting regarding weight loss.

Thank you all so much for helping out! Nerdeee I bought for only € 45 (in dollars about the same) a Razer Nabu X I hope that you will have some possibility to buy an item like that in the future. My phone doesnt allow me though to put the app on and I wont buy a new phone either!! Sometimes nothing wrong with old fashioned dieting and excercising!

Depending on the daily program, aerobics, calisthenics, circuit training, yoga, will all work fine.

    This^

Calorie burns are estimates anyway. Putting in a specific brand name of a DVD wouldn't make the calorie burn estimate any more accurate.
