Motivation

I know there are a lot of us on here lurking or even posting that have tried numerous times to lose the weight, myself included. I like some have health issues that have prevented me from losing the excess baggage on my thighs and hips. Getting closer to my thirties and I am nowhere near a healthy weight. I mean I obviously have some motivation to eat the metaphorical cake sitting in the fridge, but sometimes we need a little insight from people not directly involved in our inner circle.

From those that have been able to keep with it, what do you do for motivation? What tips and tricks can you pass on?
