Not sure where to put this, but I was excited to read about the new restaurant feature on MFP. I have an iphone with the latest update, re-synced to MFP, and updated the MFP update, but the restaurant feature is still not showing up. Anyone else having trouble with this?

What restaurant feature are you talking about?0

I got an email about a new feature on MFP. It looks like the little map icon and when you're eating out, you can log food now from a lot (can't remember the number) of restaurants. It's supposed to show up by the search bar after you hit "add food" but I'm not getting it. Just wondering if anyone had figured something out on how to get it besides updating -- which I've already done. Here's a link to where it explains the new restaurant feature: https://blog.myfitnesspal.com/myfitnesspal-introduces-restaurant-logging/
Sounds really cool if I can get it to work!0 -
They're rolling it out, which means some people will get it later than others. I had it in late December.0

There's more here:

...MFP Users in the US can find our new Restaurant Logging feature within our newest iOS update (currently being rolled out, if you do not see it on latest iOS just yet, please give it a week or so to reach all members). Android will be coming in the near future. Here are the instructions to find:

Okay, thank you. The email made it sound like it was completely rolled out to all iOS users on January 6, but I guess not. Hope to get it soon. Thanks!0

This is kinda nice. Premium feature I assume? But yeah, I prefer non chain restaurants so there's no way those will be in there anyway.0

Looks like I have the feature. It's not a premium feature. Unfortunately none of the restaurants around me have their menus on here, but I'm sure in time there will be more.
My problem is that I don't like most chain restaurants, which are usually the easiest to find nutrition information for.0 -

You're welcome!
There's a even a contest celebrating this roll out that makes it seem like it's completely rolled out.

So this is an American only thing? Hope it gets extended0

Yes, just US right now. I still don't have it, btw.0

I found a feature to use a my "location logo" when logging my food. I click on the plus sign in the diary and next to the scanner icon is the my location icon and that's how I use it. I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to though.0

Still waiting... anyone else still not have this new feature?0

Nothing yet.0

Nothing yet for me either. Although I did introduce MFP to a friend this weekend and when she downloaded the app, of course, she had it. So I looked at hers...LOL. Come on, MPF, give me the update!!0

I'm not seeing the restaurant pin. I turned on Location Services, in case that was a requirement, but I still don't see the new feature.

I'm even a premium user on a one month trial basis.0 -
Nothing for me0

So impatient and you are running on the minority system. Android won't see this feature for months.0

The location pin doesn't show on my phone. Is this feature still rolling out?0

The latest update mentioned the new restaurant feature (Android), but I'm not seeing it anywhere.. Probably only for Americans for now??0
