You have a goal weight and timeframe?
You'll have to up your calories with clean food a bit at a time until you start slowly gaining weight. Couple that with a solid workout routine to build lean muscle mass and you'll be set. Let me know and I can get into more detail.0 -
nonrg has it exactly right.
my girl is an ectomorph too, and with her work load and her change in diet she's seeing a difference. She also upped her percentage of protein quite a bit more to her diet. Her being an ectomorph though, I'd be hard pressed to actually convince her to watch what she eats like I am. We both eat fairly healthy though.0 -
There are many "hard gainers" in the gaining weight section: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/categories/goal-gaining-weight
You're going to hear over and over again that you need to eat more. People who identify as ectomorphs (which is incorrect, somatotypes has long been debunked) or hard gainers simply don't eat enough and are very active. Eating more is vital to gaining and you may find you need to add in foods that others wouldn't call "clean". Whether you eat clean or not has absolutely no bearing on if you gain weight and whether it is fat or lean mass.0 -
Wow, you look great! Sorry I can't be more helpful.0

Calorie count will determine fat gain. Not what you eat.0 -
