Okay so a co-worker has resigned after 8 years so we just had a big to-do for her. of course we had cake because what's a celebration without cake? So I ate it. It was good. I haven't had sweets in almost 2 weeks.

I did make sure to drink a boat load of water 1st so I wouldn't overdo it but yes I had 2 pieces. Now I'm full and I feel a little bad? I don't know. I had planned for it today, reduced my calories and said I will ride an extra 30 minutes on my bike tonight.

Bad move?

I say yes to cake. What's the point of working hard most of the time if you can't have cake at a party?

I almost wish I didn't. I really didn't need it. Oh well, at least it was good

I went to a wedding in December and had 4 slices of cake. Didn't feel too good about it after but I enjoyed every single bite, lol. But see... at least I stopped craving cake (still not craving cake!). So it's never really a waste.

    I never stop craving cake.

A client brought us this really delicious huge cinnamon streusel cake for the holidays. I had two small (in my eyes) pieces every freakin' morning until I finally decided to share with a couple of other offices in our building just to get rid of it.

OP, don't feel bad. You planned for it! That's totally something.

I really believe we learn something everytime we make a mistake - in anything.

Why feel bad? You planned for it and it was good. That is a win isn't it?

I would only feel bad if the cake wasn't tasty- then I would feel like I could have used those calories on something delicious.

Why would you eat a cake made out of three leeches? That just sounds terrible.

I most certainly planned for it. well the only think I could've done differently was pre-log it. I would've only had 1 slice instead of two because the lady who orders the cakes could've told me where it came from had i asked. So when I looked it up it was 320 a slice. That would've forced me to stick to 1 but it was DELICIOUS!!! mmmm sweet calories! lol

I always say everything in moderation is good. You shouldn't feel bad, it's not like you're eating 2 pieces of cake every day. Once in a while it's good to splurge ;) especially if it was a delicious cake!
