Do I need to keep adjusting calories?

I started with 230lb and with my TDEE punched in and everything came out to 3400. I manually punched in 2400 deficit and so far weight loss is optimal. In 14 days I'm down to 226 lbs. Now should I readjust the caloric values with 226 lb weight in the calculator?
Also how does deficit even work. Wouldn't body automatically adjust to lower calories level and just become stagnant at this new level of supply?
Workout and everything is same rather I've increased it up a notch.
What do you guys think?
