Accurate calorie burnt counter?

What do use to count the calories burnt after doing specific workouts? I heard calories burnt depends on a few factors: height, current weight, etc. I workout in many ways, but I only long in one way(eliptical machine); I don't know how many calories I burn for each crunch/wall sit/ etc I do. What's an accurate calorie burn counter? I know calories burnt isn't that important, but I want to know how many calories I need to eat back/how many calories I should be eating after a workout.

"Accurate" is where you get problems. Nothing we can use on a daily basis is truly accurate. But the BodyMedia device is touted to be 90% accurate (I believe). Things like the FitBit HR have been working very well for me. Unfortunately, each has their downsides.0
