The damn lower belly area is the hardest this for me. Does anyone know good exercises to shed off "the pooch" area? Also I have curves lower back, if I stand against a wall my boyfriend can put his arm through without touching the wall or my back. I know core exercises help but any other ideas?

You can't spot reduce. All you can do is reduce your overall body fat; genetics decides where it goes from first, and last.0

The stomach thread Carlos linked to for your tummy
Do you have scoliosis? See a doctor
If it's poor posture and have medical clearance then yes core exercises as part of a decent progressive resistance programme..not isolation but compound
