Activity level and steps

Out of curiosity, I'd like to see what everyone considers their activity level to be, along with their average step count.
I'm trying to become more active throughout the day, despite having a sedentary desk job. It's tough but I would like to get my average step count up to 10,000/day. Overall last year, my average was 3600. So far this month it's 7300, so I'm well on my way!
What is your average step count and activity level?

Sedentary desk job as well. I go for two long walks a day at work though. I try to hit 10K everyday but my average is probably around 8,500. Depends if it's a weight day or cardio. Cardio days I can hit upwards of 15K at times. Tough this time of year to hit a high amount of steps with the weather being so frigid0

I hear you about the weather being prohibitive. However, I live in southern Louisiana so I'm basically the opposite. I don't want to go outside when it's 100 degrees with 90% humidity. I'll gladly take my brisk 30° jogs and walks in the winter0

I get 13000-14000 steps in a day. I set my activity level as sedentary because I have a desk job and don't get a lot of activity in normal life. I jog three miles most days and add that back in as exercise.0

I do 5000-8000 a day on average with some days at10000 and others at 3000. From what I've noticed from my Fitbit adjustment, MFP considers somewhere between 2500 and 4000 sedentary, but then there is a gap until 6000-8500 which is considered lightly active. I have not tested active and very active yet, but I expect there to be a similar gap.0

Nice! Is there anything else you do deliberately to get more steps? I am able to get 10,000 in when I do my morning run/walk which is usually 4-5k steps, then I get another 1-2k in when I take a walk on my lunch break. The rest is me trying to take long routes around the office and finding excuses to get up from my desk.0
