Getting Re-Started

Hello all,
Last January, I started my weight loss journey - I was 299 lbs and want to be around 175. Things went great for 3 months, by the end of March I was down 35 pounds and feeling great! Even my doctor said my blood work looked very good. After that, things fell apart and this Christmas I was back up to 295.
That all being said, this January is my re-start. My goal is to develop permanent habits so this journey will not derail again. I got to the gym with my family as we have a family pass and I have stopped my destructive snacking habits. Late night grazing - eating crap all night is what is killing me. Now my snacks are apples, bananas, broccoli or protein bars - no more crap. I also go to bed earlier so the temptation to keep snacking is "put to bed".
Anyway, I have lost 9 pounds so far in 2016 and am down to 286. In looking to keep it going, I could use a few friends to help with motivation. Feel free to friend me if you like.
All the best in your journey as well.

Your story could be mine. In 2014 I did three months of Nutrisystem to kick start my weight loss and lost about 35 lbs before I started wavering. By the end of 2015 I had gained back 10 lbs. The good news is I didn't gain it ALL back and I'm ready to get rid of that nasty 10 lbs and keep going! I started at 274 and am restarting at 253.0
