Need Help!! and Motivation - to loose 40lbs

I have always Yo-Yo'd on my weight and need serious help loosing and keeping it off. I went from 190 to 225 Last year.
Overall need to loose 60 to 65lbs, but I will be very happy with loosing 40lbs by end of July.

It would be great if someone can tell me what I am doing wrong in my diet and suggest what else I can do to stay on my target. I am a vegetarian and love food, but at this point I want to get my life back in order. I have a open diary.

    I have 40 to lose, too. I track diligently, both food and exercise. Have been a yoyo for so long...ready to make a permanent change and stay in one healthy place!
