Best low-cal/high protein powder?

Lately I've been trying to find a low-calorie protein powder that is as high in protein as possible. I prefer to keep the calories at 100 or less, simply because I like to add lots of stuff to my shakes. I just ordered some Sexy Whey by Gym Vixen that has 24g of protein/0 carbs/0 fat/0 sugar for only 96 calories per serving. Do any of you have any other recommendations for me?

Since protein is 4 calories per gram, the one you have is as good as it can possibly get.

Good to know! I'll keep that in mind when looking at new powders to try. I'll do the math to see if there's lots of unnecessary calories. Thanks for the tip!

My favorite it Quest's powders, mostly their Vanilla Milkshake flavor (because it goes so well with and in so many different things). It blends up nice and thick, plus it's very sweet and doesn't have a weird aftertaste. 100 calories per scoop (I can't really think of any I've seen less than that with protein powder), but it's very very good. If you go to their website and contact them they'd probably send you a free sample!

I've been eyeing the Quest powders so much lately! I just recently tried their bars, and I'm in love. I'm really considering trying their powders next. Also, I'm definitely going to try emailing them. Thanks!

You could email them or even use the live chat on their website, that's how I got to try the salted caramel and banana cream flavors! The only one I haven't tried yet is the cookies & cream, but Vanilla Milkshake is still at the top of my list with the Peanut Butter right behind it :) I like some of their bars but there's a few I'm not crazy about, overall I think their bars are a bit expensive for what you get. The powder, on the other hand, is worth every penny! You can really make it fun by adding a frozen banana, different flavored nut butters, swapping milk for iced coffee, or even adding it into pancake mix, oatmeal, or adding a little water to a bowl of it to make a glaze for pancakes (which I haven't had much success with using other brand protein powders)

Sexy Whey by Gym Vixen has Sucralose (bad for you) for sure. Better to find something without artificial sweeteners and flavors, the sweeten yourself with Stevia. Try NOW Sports Natural Unflavored Whey Isolate.
